A self-proclaimed white racist took the lives of 10 African Americans, and wounded others in a mass shooting in Buffalo, NY. Are the lives of African Americans shot dead by a black gang member in Chicago any less valuable or undeserving of national mourning than those killed in Buffalo?

We’ve all heard these solutions; stricter gun control laws, addressing mental illness, and racial healing.

Questions

Who’s really behind the gun violence, the mental illness and racial hatred? Who will recognize the root of the evil? Who has the solution? Who is the solution?

What Does the Bible Say?

We don’t wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12

The devil and demons are the root causes of calamity in our world.

Jesus said, The thief (meaning the devil and demons) does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that you may have life, and that you may have it more abundantly. John 10:10

In other words, Jesus is the solution.
